Founded in 1916 near Gokoku-ji Temple, Gunrindo is famed for its mame daifuku, ranked among Tokyo's "three great mame daifuku." Literary figures such as Yukio Mishima and Seicho Matsumoto were longtime fans. The shop sells only in person, with no department-store stalls or reservations.
