Why visitSennen-zake Kikkawa

Founded in 1626 as a rice merchant, Kikkawa carries on the salmon culture of the castle town of Murakami, producing shiobiki-jake salted salmon and many other salmon delicacies. Inside the traditional machiya shop, visitors can see hundreds of salmon hanging from the ceiling to cure.
