Why visitSato Yosuke Sohonten

Founded in 1860, Sato Yosuke has preserved the craft of Inaniwa udon — one of Japan's three great udon styles — for seven generations. The thin, silky hand-stretched noodles draw fans from all over Japan, and the main shop offers a glimpse of the making process.
