Founded in 1906, Sasacho Jozo brews miso and soy sauce in cedar barrels in the Towa district of Hanamaki, beneath sacred Mt. Hayachine. Its products, including the popular Shinise no Aji tsuyu sauce, can be purchased at the on-site factory shop.
