Founded in 1912, this confectionery is the birthplace of ichigo daifuku (strawberry mochi). Third-generation owner Kazuhei Osumi created the original "ichigo mame daifuku" in 1985, sparking a nationwide trend, and the shop still runs its main store in Akebonobashi today.
