Kameya opened in Omoide Yokocho in 1971 and is credited as the birthplace of tenta-ma soba, a bowl topped with freshly fried tempura and a soft-boiled egg. The stand-and-eat noodle shop still operates around the clock as one of the alley's signature establishments.
