Founded in 1550 at Hinaga, a junction of the Tokaido road and the Ise pilgrimage route, Sasaiya has made its signature nagamochi for more than 470 years. The slender rice cakes, filled with red bean paste and grilled on both sides, remain a beloved Yokkaichi specialty.
