Why visitMotsuyaki Kobayashi

Founded in 1948 as a postwar noodle stall, this izakaya now specializes in motsuyaki (grilled offal) and slow-simmered kushi-nikomi stew. It is run single-handedly by the third-generation proprietress in a back alley where the Toden Arakawa tram rattles past.
