Why visitMeikyoku Kissa Lion
Founded in 1926, this classical-music kissaten on Dogenzaka was destroyed in the 1945 air raids and rebuilt in 1950 to its prewar design. It remains one of Tokyo's few surviving "meikyoku kissa," where customers sit and listen to records played through large vintage speakers.
