Built in 1914 as a rice wholesaler's storehouse along the old Nakasendo post road, this earthen-walled building is registered as a tangible cultural property of Itabashi Ward. After changing hands and names over the decades, it now operates as an onigiri cafe under the Itago Kometen name.
