Why visitOkashi-tsukasa Beniya
Founded in 1924 in what was then Takada-machi, this confectionery originally stood near Kishimojin Temple in Zoshigaya before relocating to Minami-Ikebukuro after wartime destruction. It is well known for wagashi inspired by "susuki mimizuku," a local folk-toy owl made of pampas grass.
