Founded by Ginjiro Akiyama in Shiba, this dried bonito flake shop relocated to Tsukiji after the Great Kanto Earthquake. It pioneered selling pre-shaved bonito flakes at a time when whole dried blocks were the norm, and is now run by the fourth generation.
